Senior Exercise Programs

I work with people of all ages, although my main focus is seniors above the age of 65 and many of my clients are 85+ years old. My training programs focus on balance, mobility, strength, and functional training such as getting up and down from the floor. I also incorporate Physical Therapy exercises into the workout program.

Live Video Workouts

I offer video workouts ranging from 45 minutes to an hour. We can use whatever equipment you have at home; and if you have no equipment, we'll be creative and use stuff around your home. Gyms are great, but a home workout can be just as good with very minimal and inexpensive equipment.

Mindful Workouts

It's not just about going through the motions. Knowing which muscles you're using, and why, will help you get stronger faster. Bracing your core, activating your glutes, and squeezing your quads are just a few examples of ways to maximize every movement you make during a workout session

A Bit About Me

I've been a personal trainer in West Los Angeles for 6+ years. My passion lies in the everyday challenge: every client is different and requires a different type of workout. I began my journey with a single client. He ended up needing open-heart surgery, and his doctor told him that if he wasn't in such good shape, he likely wouldn’t have made it. I keep that story with me at all times and it fuels me to create a stronger you every day.

FAQs

Do you work out of a gym or will you come to my house?

Either one! My personal gym offers us many more equipment options and thus variation in our workout. But I do have portable equipment that I can bring to your house to emulate the gym as best we can. And not everyone needs the equipment a gym has to offer. With just your body and the floor we can create a workout that rivals anything at the gym.

How much do you charge?

That depends on the time and place we work out. Please contact me directly to talk about pricing.

I've never lifted weights before. What should I expect? Will I get bulky?

Strength training is any movement against a resistance. Including your body! But don't worry, we'll start out with light weights and slowly increase your strength. It's a gradual process. Remember: it didn't take a week to get out of shape, so it won't take a week to get into shape. And you won't get bulky at all. It takes lifting very heavy weights and eating lots of extra food to get bulky. That should be the least of your worries.
