That's right. The main goal at Jake Moskowitz Fitness is to get you feeling better. Most trainers will tell you that you should aim for a six pack, or that you want defined shoulders or bulging biceps. I say forget all that; let's focus on how you feel. Fitness is about wellness, connecting how your body feels with how you feel mentally, emotionally. Let your body be your guide, and with me you'll find your goals, your way.
A Bit About Me
I started as a personal trainer 2 years ago and it’s safe to say I love it. My passion lies in the everyday challenge: every client is different and requires a different type of workout. I began my journey with a single client. He ended up requiring open-heart surgery, and his doctor told him that if he weren’t in such good shape, he likely wouldn’t have made it. I keep that story with me at all times and it fuels me to create a stronger you every day.

Do you work out of a gym or will you come to my house?
Either one! The gym offers us much more equipment options and thus variation in our workout. But I do have portable equipment that I can bring to your house to emulate the gym as best we can. And not everyone needs the equipment a gym has to offer.
How much do you charge?
That depends on the time and place we work out. Please contact me directly to talk about pricing.
I've never lifted weights before. What should I expect? Will I get bulky?
Yes, strength training is lifting weights. But don't worry, we'll start out with light weights and slowly increase your strength. It's a gradual process. Remember: it didn't take a week to get out of shape, so it won't take a week to get into shape. And you won't get bulky at all. It takes lifting very heavy weights and eating lots of extra food to get bulky. That should be the least of your worries.
